I recieved this as a Xmas gift and had never had Cab/Shiraz before. I had to leave out the oak due to an allergy to vanilla. It still tasted great, have been sharing my batch with friends and neighbors. I have asked them to be truthful and have had all very positive comments. They all wanted another taste. I just purchased Pinot Grigio and can't wait to get the kit!

merlot, 11/26/2010
Just bottled my merlot and had a sip or two. LOVE IT.......I was so excited that I washed out the system and made my sauvignon blanc.....just in time for Christmas. I plan on buying the cabernet/shiraz next. I can't wait for the white zin to come back.

Tasted great day of bottling. Taste improves as it sits, good balance, not very dry. Wine had no sediment what so ever. I recommend using good water, I used filter water from my brita. Will make again.

Bottled my first batch in November, 2009. Easy drinking. I like it better as it has aged a bit. Am going to make more. Tastes more expensive then it is.

Cab/Shiraz, 08/05/2009
Bottled my first batch a couple of weeks ago, tasted it last night. Although it's a little to sweet, it is very drinkable. It has a great nose, with a wonderful finish of oak, blackberry, choclate. Overall, I am very pleased with the result.
